CAROLE T. ORLAND QUOTED IN THE CONNECTICUT LAW TRIBUNE, JULY 2021

The Connecticut Law Tribune contacted several prominent attorneys across the state for comment, including one of Broder Orland Murray & DeMattie LLC’s founding partners, Carole Topol Orland concerning: “I miss the Good Old Days'” Older Attorneys have both Praise and Criticism for the Technological Advances Needed for the Job.”

Sixty-eight-year-old Carole Orland, a partner with Broder Orland Murray & DeMattie in Westport, said she found it easy to adapt to tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, But, she acknowledged, many peers her age are still having problems.

“My message for older attorneys is to see if they can enlist the assistance of someone who is more facile with technology,” said Orland, who handles family law. “The family law bar is very collegial and if anyone needed assistance, I am confident they could enlist assistance from attorneys willing to help them out.”
